The Office of Exceptional Children directs and supports the development, implementation, operation, and evaluation of Pre K–12 educational programs, curricula, and services that meet the unique needs of Lexington Four’s exceptional children. The Office of Exceptional Children directs and supports programs including Special Education, Gifted and Talented, Section 504, and Medicaid. The office plans and offers professional development for staff and administrators. It also provides instructional leadership, supervision, coordination, and evaluation of early childhood, elementary, secondary, career, and transition programs and services.
