All Lexington Four schools will operate on a 2-hour delay for Friday, January 24, 2025. District officials have been monitoring road conditions across the district, and there continue to be isolated, but significant, issues on secondary roads. The National Weather Service is also forecasting temperatures well below freezing again tomorrow morning. As a result, schools will operate on a 2-hour delay to give buses, parents, staff, and students the opportunity to begin their drives during daylight hours. Students and staff should report to their schools two hours later than usual, and the remainder of the day will proceed on normal schedule.

The Lexington School District 4 Athletic Department is now accepting nominations for the Hall of Fame class of 2025. To be considered for this year’s class, nominations must be returned to by March 12th. If you have any questions, please email Coach Deaver at pdeaver@lexington4.net.

All Lexington Four schools and the district office will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, January 23, 2025.
The National Weather Service reports that nearly two inches of snow have fallen across the district overnight. Temperatures will stay below freezing today, with lows expected in the mid-teens tomorrow morning. The SC Department of Transportation is actively working to clear primary roads, but reports that some secondary roads will remain untreated today. Any remaining water or snow will freeze hard overnight, creating hazardous conditions that are unlikely to improve until at least midday.
As of today, the district has utilized all five e-Learning days authorized by state law. Therefore, tomorrow’s closure will require an in-person make-up day, scheduled for Monday, February 17, 2025.
All afterschool activities and athletics are canceled for tomorrow.

Lexington Four will transition to an eLearning day for all schools, Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Overnight, the forecast for winter weather has intensified, and hazardous conditions are expected tomorrow morning. These conditions will likely persist throughout the day, making it unsafe for normal school operations.
Please check Google Classroom for details about e-Learning assignments.
To be marked present for the e-Learning day, your child must complete all assignments by Wednesday, January 29.
All afterschool activities and athletics are canceled for tomorrow.
