Female students enrolled in Lexington 4 in grades 9-12 are eligible to apply, as long as they meet the guidelines in the application.

JROTC had former Swansea cadets talk with students about college and military readiness. It's always great seeing graduates doing amazing things!

This week there will be a Happy Holidays Spirit Week
Monday: Do You Wanna Build a Snowman? Wear white, blue, silver, or wear snowmen on your clothes
Tuesday: Sweater Weather -- Wear your ugly sweaters, scarves, and socks.
Wednesday: We Wish You a Merry Christmas -- Wear your favorite flannel shirt.
Thursday: Santa Claus is Coming to Town --Dress like one of Santa’s helpers or like Santa himself.
Friday: Rocking Around the Christmas Tree -- Decorate yourself like you’re a tree. Wear your favorite Christmas accessories.

Today our English students showed up and showed out, demonstrating their 21st century communication and presentation skills to a panel of judges. Special thanks to our volunteers and the SHS Teacher Cadets for helping out.










This week our students have been completing various activities at lunch to celebrate College and Career Week. Tuesday, students practiced job interviewing skills with Ms. Young and Ms. McCray.

Today, Lexington 4 school board chairman and Swansea Alumni Quincy Sutton spoke to our students about how perceptions often become reality and how they must do their best to represent themselves, their families and our community with pride and class.
