Swansea Freshman Academy

Congratulations to the Swansea Tiger Band on their performances at their first two competitions! They will perform today at the White Knoll High School Silver Invitational. Their performance time is 1:30pm. If the weather is not cooperative, the performances will be held in the gym at White Knoll HS.

Congratulations to our students who achieved perfect attendance during September. Every Day Counts! Each month, we will celebrate students who have Perfect Attendance! To earn Perfect Attendance, students must be at school all day, every day with no late arrivals or early dismissals. Making attendance a priority gives your student the best opportunity to learn, grow, and be successful at school while helping them develop a strong work ethic that will carry with them for years to come. 💜💛 Every day matters. Every minute counts!

Good luck to our JV football players and JV and Varsity volleyball players on their games tonight! We're so proud to support our Tiger athletes!

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! From September 15 through October 15, we celebrate the history, cultures, achievements, traditions, and contributions of the Hispanic and Latino community. September 15 marks the independence of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua, followed by Mexico on September 16 and Chile on September 18. At Swansea Freshman Academy, this celebration is especially meaningful as we proudly learn alongside students and families with roots in Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, Venezuela, Colombia, and beyond. We honor the cultures and stories that help make our Tiger family so special! ¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana!

Interim Reports Are Going Home Today! We encourage parents and guardians to take time to review their student’s current academic progress. Interim reports provide an important opportunity to celebrate successes, identify areas for improvement, and make a plan for a strong finish to the grading period. Please talk with your student about their grades, missing assignments, and any support they may need. If you have questions or concerns regarding a specific course, please reach out to your student’s teacher. Let’s continue working together to help every Tiger succeed!

Our first Spirit Week of the school year is here! In recognition of Attendance Awareness Month, Lexington 4 will celebrate with a Spirit Week from September 8–11, 2026. See the attached flyer for each day’s theme!
