No School Monday, January 15, for MLK Day-- see you Tuesday, January 16.

Students are learning about organic macromolecules in Earth Science. In order to better understand what macros are, students participated in a Murder Mystery lab. Students analyzed the "stomach contents" of 3 victims to identify where they ate last. Using what they learned in class, students were able to test for proteins, lipids, sugars, and starches. They then solved where the victims ate. This is similar to what a forensic pathologist might do.
