FAFSA Season is upon us!!!! The video linked below explains what FAFSA is, so if you are interested in attending a FAFSA Information Session and Workshop please come to either session that works best for you. Either the FAFSA Brunch on Monday, January 13th at 9:00AM or FAFSA Night on Thursday, January 16th at 6:00PM. Lexington Four, in coordination with other Lexington County school districts, will transition to early dismissal for all schools, tomorrow, Friday, January 10, 2025. A significant chance of winter weather exists for tomorrow afternoon. To provide time for buses, students, and staff to safely complete their afternoon travel before the winter weather arrives, schools will follow the normal half-day schedule listed below. Breakfast and lunch will be served. Additionally, all afterschool activities, daycare, and athletics are canceled for tomorrow. WIDA Testing for English Language Learners will begin on Monday, February 3, 2025 through Friday, March 7, 2025. Parents and students will receive additional communication regarding specific test dates for students. December 16th–20th, 2024 Show your holiday spirit each day with these fun themes: Monday: Baby, It’s Cold Outside – Wear your favorite scarf or cozy socks. Tuesday: You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch – Wear green to cheer up the Grinch. Wednesday: Walking in a Winter Wonderland – Wear blue and white. Thursday: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer – Wear red to shine bright like Rudolph. Friday: Festive Friday – Wear your favorite festive holiday sweater. Join the fun and make this week special!

Join us for the 5th Annual Holiday Lights Drive on December 13th from 5:45 to 7:00 PM at Swansea High School (enter through Parking Lot 2). Enjoy a festive evening of Christmas lights! Admission is free, but donations are welcome and appreciated. Don’t forget to bring your letters for Santa! Sponsored by the SHS Student Council and supported by the Lex4 Family.

Virtual SC Exams are next Tuesday, December 10th and Wednesday, December 11th! Last names A-Joh will take their exams on Tuesday and last names Jon-Z will take their exams on Wednesday. Students will need to report to the Media Center (with their charged chromebook) by 8:45AM on their scheduled exam date.

Join us for a Chick-fil-A Pop-Up Drive-Thru on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM in the SHS parking lot. We'll have a limited menu featuring: Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich Waffle Potato Chips Chocolate Chunk Cookies The drive-thru will begin in the student parking lot and will follow the car rider drop-off/pick-up pattern. Come grab dinner and support our school!!!
