📸 Class of 2026 – Senior Portrait Makeup Day!

Did you miss your original senior portrait session? Don’t worry — makeups are scheduled for Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 in the Swansea High School Gym.

All seniors must be photographed by Prestige Portraits to be included in the 2025–2026 yearbook.

Students must wear a black drape or tuxedo (provided by Prestige) and bring two casual outfits if participating in an expanded session. Be sure to wear appropriate undergarments and follow all attire suggestions.

🚗 Student drop-off begins at 7:50 a.m. in the student parking lot. Please note that doors will not open until that time.

🕣 School begins promptly at 8:35 a.m.

🕞 Dismissal is at 3:35 p.m.

📣 Dual Enrollment Meeting – July 30, 2025

All students enrolled in or interested in Dual Enrollment are invited to attend a meeting on Wednesday, July 30th at 5:30 PM in the SHS Media Center.

Representatives from Midlands Technical College will be on site to provide important information and answer questions.

If you are currently enrolled in Dual Enrollment, please make plans to attend. This is an important opportunity to prepare for a successful year ahead!!!

SMS and SHS Volleyball Tryouts will be held on August 5th and 6th from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM in the SHS Gym. All athletes must attend both days of tryouts to be considered for the team.

Participants must have a current sports physical dated after April 1, 2025 in order to try out.

📚🎒 Meet the Teacher Night – July 30, 2025!
Swansea High School invites all rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors to our Back-to-School Meet the Teacher Night in the SHS Gym!

🟣 Schedule:
• Sophomores: 1:00 PM – 2:40 PM
• Juniors: 2:40 PM – 4:20 PM
• Seniors: 4:20 PM – 6:00 PM

During this event, students and families will have the opportunity to:
✅ Meet teachers, staff, and administrators
✅ Pick up course schedules
✅ Get information on bus transportation, school fees, student IDs, parking decals, and more
✅ Receive logins/passwords, PowerSchool Parent Portal details
✅ Review important documents including:
• SC Graduation Requirements
• Free to Focus Cell Phone Policy
• Dress Code Policy
• Clear Bag Policy
• Attendance Policy
• Tardy Policy

The Swansea High School Graduation Ceremony will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 at the Doug Bennett Stadium located at 718 Redmond Mill Road, Swansea, SC. Swansea High School will host Baccalaureate Services for the Class of 2025 on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lexington Four Performing Arts Center. A reception for seniors and their parents will begin at 6:00 p.m. prior to the ceremony. We look forward to celebrating this special milestone with our graduating seniors and their families.
