Tuesday Mrs. Reed and Ms. Wells classes attended the End the R word Rally at the SC State House. The the Word campaign asks people to pledge to stop saying the R-word as a starting point toward creating more accepting attitudes and communities for all people. It takes the Village!
How can we prepare for testing?
Here are some helpful things to know and put in to practice as we near SCReady testing!
Please mark these important SCReady testing dates on your calendar. Be sure to schedule appointments and such around testing days. We want students to arrive by 7:50 each day, rested and prepared to do their very best!
This week students in Mrs. Reed and Ms. Amanda's class had the opportunity to adopt a dragon. They researched Chinese and European Dragons, filled out an application to adopt a dragon, and wrote their adults at home a persuasive letter asking permission to bring home their dragons. Their dragon got to watch them do their work and they even read to their dragons!
The SES Village celebrated wrapping up iReady testing with sno cones at recess. Way to go buddies!
