
Today our Special Olympics Young Athletes celebrated our Veterans with a parade down each hall of the ECC. Staff and students participated with musical instruments and waving flags. Happy Veterans Day! ❤️💙


Congratulations to Sarah Lewis and Lesley Payne for being recognized as Teachers of the Month and Shandon Hook as the Support Staff Member of the Month for October!

For the month of October, Mrs. Jones had her students and families decorate pumpkins based off children's books. Check out the pumpkins that were brought in! Do you recognize any characters or books?




This week is our Scholastic Book Fair! Here are the hours the book fair is open. Don't forget you can stop by tomorrow or Thursday after PALS to shop!


Congratulations to our students of the month for October! These students were chosen by their teachers for showcasing the district motto Lead, Learn, Serve, Excel. We are proud of these Early Risers!


Mrs. Frick and Ms. Shandon’s class had a fun morning carving their pumpkin and dressing up in the dramatic play center!

The ECC's young athletes traveled to Swansea High School to participate in the Special Olympics fall games!





It was another special day here at the ECC with our 3K Parenting Partners families this past Wednesday! 3K Parents and Grandparents joined us this week to learn about communication that works. Students were excited to join their family members at the end for a fun craft activity - talking sticks! Talking sticks are a great tool to use with young children to teach active listening skills! 3K families please join us for our next workshop, Creating Structure for Achievement on Wednesday October 25th from 8-10 am here at the ECC!





Students celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month in Room 208 by exercising and counting to ten in Spanish, listening to Latin music while coloring pictures, and learning how say some of our colors in Spanish!




Last week students in Mrs. Manuel's class celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by reading "Round Is A Tortilla" and enjoying tacos for lunch!

Day 5 of Swansea High School's Homecoming Week for us was Swansea Pride Day! We wore Swansea colors! Once a tiger, always a tiger!
