We want to give a special shout out to our two front office ladies, Loretta Skinner and Lisa Pound! Yesterday was Administrative Professionals Day and we sure do love those two!

Some classes have started their annual ABC Countdown this week! Ms. Miller's students are on C Day which is "crazy hair!"

Please join us this Friday, April 12th here at the ECC from 8:00-10:00 a.m. for our first Calm & Kind Family Workshop. Each workshop includes an opportunity to engage with your child in a fun craft activity! We can't wait to see you there!



Although the forecast prevented us from attending the Special Olympics Area 7 Spring Games today at Swansea High School , we didn’t let it rain on our parade! Thanks to the collaboration with USC, our Young Athletes and Unified partners were able to have a modified Spring Games here at the ECC. Special thanks to all volunteers, parents, and staff members for coming together to make this happen!


Did you know that the ECC is a Unified Champion School? We have so many opportunities to build inclusion with our Early Risers! Our Special Olympic Athletes will be participating in their Spring Games on March 28th. We will be supporting them all next week with our Unified Spirit Week! See below for our themed days.



Thursday, March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day! Please join us in showing support and building awareness for World Down Syndrome Day by rocking your brightly colored, crazy or mismatched socks. Show how much fun a little something extra can bring!

We will be celebrating Read Across America Week starting tomorrow!


Invitations went home this week with students for the ECC Spring Fling Dance on March 28th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. If you and your child plan to attend, please RSVP by filling out the bottom portion of the invite and returning it to your child's teacher with payment. The cost for attendance is $5 per person. Once payment is received, tickets will be sent home with your child. Please bring your tickets with you to the dance! We can't wait to see you all there!
